My name is Eric. I started this journal in order that I might communicate the Truth of the Word of God, and in doing so force myself to think about and learn important concepts so that I may glorify Him for all the He Is.

A Brief Testimony:

I’d been ‘in’ the church for the first 26 years of my life. In that time it meant absolutely nothing. I spent the first 26 years of my life in what you might call depression, living only by my own power and will, and I was miserable.

It has only been in the last year, approximately, that I have considered myself a Christian, thanks first to the Holy Spirit and only slightly less to the faithful preaching and teaching at Grace Bible Presbyterian. This is where I was introduced to the framework of truth that is Calvinism, and I believe it is a travesty that this comprehensive, God glorifying, high and complete view of God and Scripture is withheld from my brethren simply based on the human weakness of not being able to accept limited atonement.

As my 29th year approaches, I thank the Lord every day for choosing me as one of His elect, and look forward to my walk with Him to the end of my days.
